okay, pretty lazy so quick summary of the week:

-shopping w jp was fruitful n funny. new bag that i haven't found a use for. had delightful subway. free cookie (cheapo).
-most of my weekends was spent in church. played games. music. met new friends today. indian jerome is funny, yi xuan or smthn, si kai and someone else. haha. fengli came back!
-still having the bout of sorethroat. really sucks cause it dampens the mood for town.
-work was fun : colleagues locked emselves up so i had to go rescue! boss was nice. gt my pay, gg for nice jap food with everyone in the office this week my contract expires!
-watched a whole season of one tree hill !! thank god for youtube.
-had many mom-girl talks this week.

resolution #1 of the week: not cancel any appointments last minute.

you know, sometimes i don't really feel like i have any friends..it's like i have a different little something i can't tell different close friends so to speak. not that it's a deep dark secret or skeleton in my closet. but just .. it would be great to have someone you could tell everything to.

I officially swear off Charles&Keith. the white details broke off fm my flats yesterday. It was like new?! Hope VNC doesn't fail me.

So anyway. Yesterday was Learn-To-Use-The-ATM day. It was lunchbreak as usual and i decided to go for lunch alone. BAD IDEA! Went to suntec to withdraw cash for the first time in my life. Then the ATM said "TEMPORARILY UNABLE TO WITHDRAW CASH". But i already pressed 20 bucks in the transaction!! and it didn't dispense the cash i asked for. So at that moment, a few BRIGHT ideas came to mind:

1) mine's a Savings Acct so i'm naturally NOT allowed to withdraw cash (but wth??! the woman beside me was holding the same card)
2)dad tampered with my account
3) i chose the wrong account in the transaction to withdraw from

i stared at the machine for like pretty long. and then i stared at the long queue behind me.. and i felt so sad i thought i lost my 20 bucks for nothing! so i walked away and asked about like 8 eateries whether they accept NETS. AND WOW SURPRISE SURPRISE NONE OF THEM DID!!! i should have noticed the trend instead of walking to all 8. FELT REALLY DUMB. then i walked to another ATM machine to check if my 20 bucks was really gone.. and i realised EH!!!! IT's STILL THERE! AND I PRESSED FOR IT.. AND THE CASH CAME OUT! and then it dawned on me that the other machine was temporarily unable to DISPENSE CASH. SO i was really angry at I DON'T KNOW WHAT!?!? then i went to buy a huge subway teriyaki meal to take it out. ASKED FOR EXTRA MAYO AND BOUGHT EXTRA COOKIES. .

Is there an epidemic going rnd? Due to the cold weather perharps? I've a sorethroat and fever. And i nosebled and threw up blots of blood the size of half my palm last night. Disgusting- but i felt less heaty after that. It has always been my body's way of healing weird huh. Now my voice's returned to normal. It sounded monster- mortifying a few days back.

Joachim and I were sitting bus 58 to church that day. We passed by NY. And i suddenly felt nostalgic. Yes this bittersweet feeling welled up. It's funny how sometimes, i don't cherish the times with my friends for that very moment itself until i look back and see how every second can mean so much. The things we take for granted, we can sometimes lose. And.. Is it gonna be this way? We make new friends at every stage of our life and then get separated from most of them? At this rate, i'll be making acquaintances all my life! I MISS MY PHONE!!!

i have 2 thoughts. why are people so quick to pass judgement without really knowing someone in the first place? Second, i do that sometimes too. I judge people based on first impressions.. and then one day i discover they have a different side( be it good or bad), one being a facade and then i cringe. like, OOPS.

I dreamt that yizhen, huining, me and sab were gorging on pizza in the bathroom whilst preparing to go out shopping! HAHA. karen has weird dreams too! and most scary, i dreamt ___ got pregnant!!! GOODNESS!! Caught Illusionist during the weekend too. WOAH MAN. Quite a plot!

Under The Sky Of Dust;

Changed blogskin; absolutely love the sombre colours!

Okay for starters, Valentines' is going to be yet another lonesome affair this year. Save for the fact that Al & I are going to sell roses on the streets! HAHA. Some crazy idea by us bachelorettes YES.. Sounds corny, but anyhow i'd love to see lovebirds everywhere! engenders this romantic feel! i'd better start brainstorming for gifts too.

was thinking about As and realised i haven't collected my O levels cert. that's like 2 years overdue?! probably dumped burnt or shredded by now.

Anw, let me tell you about a friend i recently made. She talks to herself using Third Person Narrative!! HAHA SUPER FUNNNY.. OMYGOODNESS. Okay, Let's call her Susan! So, Susan is about to go for her meal now and she says to herself: Susan will now be going for lunch! HAHA. CUTE.

so last week saw me at cell, church besides work. Ate at suntec with jon too. been ages since we last caught up!! jap food + rojak + yamiyoghurt HAHA i got a white skirt (guilty as charged) but well worthit! HAHA! out with ed was quite a blast! had dinner on beanbags (figure that out) cause the indian restaurant no buffet :( okay sounds damn weird but we went into fullerton cause it was nearby clarke quay and none of us went before so errr HAHA. goodness quite posh! i felt it in the air. then we basically sat on the bridge & made good conversation by the river. i loved the breeze, the shade of the night and was basically feeling lightheaded. like, the weight of the world was taken off my shoulders. and i saw SOMEBODY out with JY HAHAHA!! ^^

hope eric gets discharged soon. and last sun our korea instructors were in town for dinner!

My phone got confiscated again. Mom's sick of paying my bills (which after much thought i felt was overboard too). At this rate, i'll pay like thousand+++ every year for SMS. Unacceptable! So i'm gonna take up a new line & a better plan & pay em myself. Now, the question is: Which phone???

After reading junzie's post.. i suddenly miss 05A4B. (thanks for the testi btw my miss hercules!)Like, Everyone. Yes, EVERYONE. Wonder how they're coping with work.. when will our next outingg be!

And I think i might get Arthritis in the next week or so. The aircon in my office is wayy brrrr but everyone else thinks it's fine. And you know they use shawls in offices. Mine is sucha pretty dusty pink but it doesn't even keep me warm! :( The chill gets to my bones. early bone degeneration perharpss? And the braindead stuff i'm assigned to simply makes matters worst cos i'm constantly reminded of the brrrr temppp... Like, He-llo? Chillout? NOT A GOOD TIME! HAHA! Which reminds me of a cheer: BRRR.. It's Cold In Here! There Must Be Something In The Atmosphere!!! HAHA. LOVE CHEERS. used to love the bombing one. childish, one might say..

went for surgery on midnight. LIKE inject MY GUM?! practically FREAKED OUT.wore some goggle thing tt i thought was to block out the light. But then i looked again and saw that it was.. Transparent! drilling. blood splattering. GROSSS. teeth got chipped off real bad and infected ex into the thousands.. so i'm just pretty sad about tt!

Anyhow, PeiRong & I wanted to join the Police force, cause we thought there would be like some hot guys there. HAHA. so she called up on wednesday.. then they said only left life-endangering jobs. so we decided to pass, didn't want to die young.

How timely a chat with Benj about the change of church! :D Rgding the sermon today, i shall start a new journal for a new year with god! :D

something is very wrong with my face. like i can't EMOTE! esp when i space out, i get pple saying i look like i'm in this really bitchyy mood. Then i give them this OH-MY-NOOO-TOTALLY SHOCKED expression. then it suddenly looks like i'm aloof. drama class?

Blood Diamond's not bad. sounds sadistic but i love the setting when leonardo died. i can clearly remember Tongee telling us about Sierra. must get a proper christian name when i get baptised. importance: office convenience.maybe i'll be sally today and susie tmr HAHAHA. OHWELL. will get that settled sooooon.
shopping w mommy over the weekends :D cheap buy was a black skirt fm outfitters for only 25! OHYA got my camis too!:D haha! sadly, my intensive training plan turned out to be INTENSIVE EATING! :(

When a girl is quiet, millions of things are running through her mind;

wedding. beautiful. the aisle was bathed in dusty shades of amber. white flower veils hung from walls & Pachabel (Canon in D) accompanied the bride's entrance. beautiful :)

coincidentally got an email on best wedding places. i thought this one's quite beautiful for a post wedding thing. x)

seeing wennie in long pants as sch starts today makes me realise how time flies. mmmmm for swensens :D booooo for confessions of pain. too violent! got new C&K bronze flats! x)
